Soil Stories was a supper event inviting guests to enjoy a delicious meal while considering how the flavour and nutritional value of the food we eat is influenced by the system in which it is produced.

Over four thoughtful courses crafted with ingredients from producers working in harmony with their ecosystems, and interactive elements including an olive oil tasting led by Sarah Vachon, co-founder of Citizens of Soil, food was both subject and medium. The meal was a conversation, a moment for connection, and a reminder that what we eat is inseparable from how it’s grown and that soil, when we pay attention, has a lot to say.
